This all happened 10:30 am and they could not let them stay an hour past check out even though we were trapped.
She told them no and they had to be out by check at 11am cause the hotel was sold out. The front desk manager was extremely rude to them. To make matters worse others in our party called to receive a late check out (not all day but at least till we were out of the elevator) since they were stuck waiting for us. Thank God for them! The hotel wanted us to wait till the elevator company could come out to fix it which at that point they were not even answering the phone. My wife and I were trapped in there for over an hour until the Fire Department came and got us out. We got on the elevator on the 3rd floor and it stopped suddenly. We decided to take the stairs up a flight and get on the next elevator rather than ride the poo trolley. While trying to head up to the room one of the elevators had poop on the floor (no joke) I understand this was not the hotels fault but what happened after totally was. (Great venue even though we got rained out.) But the next morning we were getting ready to leave and headed to friends room who we were staying here with.
Want to start by saying we had a great time at a concert we went to at the amphitheater.
